It was sakura season here in Japan these last few weeks, and the true beginning of Spring! Warmer weather, new life, and wicked allergies. I’ve been being told about how beautiful this time of year is since we got here. I’ve only seen one cherry tree in bloom, that I can remember. And wow, I was missing out! Absolutely beautiful! While I loved seeing them literally everywhere, a friend and I went to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden specifically to see them on the ‘peak day’ of the season. It was a wonderful and beautiful day!
And I was finally able to use my new 50 mm lens that my hubby got me for Christmas. Yep, it’s been that long since I’ve had my camera out. Disgusting I know. But here are a few of the photos I took.
Until later, Lovelies!
